Andrea has almost a decade of experience working with a variety of mental health disorders. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah and worked as a RN for many years in the ER and Cardiac ICU units.
She relocated to Mendoza, Argentina early 2000 and created a First Aid/Rescue training program for people working high in the Andes Mountains. Andrea completed her master’s degree in nursing with a psychiatric focus at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana in 2014.
Dedicated to her profession, Andrea has written for various publications and is the lead author to a chapter in a nursing rural graduate nursing textbook about the health needs action process (HNAP), a holistic and patient-centered approach how rural people search for health care services.
Andrea grew up in the Mountain West and continues to enjoy skiing, biking, hiking, sailing, cooking, traveling and most of all, spending time with her friends and family.
